Regulation has become a structural variable in global trade. It shapes pricing, supply chains, market access, and competitive positioning. For export-oriented firms, regulatory shifts are no longer episodic events, they have become ongoing strategic inputs.

Today, companies respond through a mix of internal monitoring, external advisory retainers, and fragmented interpretation cycles. The result is cost, delay, and uneven clarity. Kanan Labs is building a different model.

We are developing an AI-native regulatory intelligence system designed to function as a continuous strategic layer for businesses operating across jurisdictions. The objective is not to surface documents or summarise policy updates. The objective is to translate regulatory movement into actionable business understanding.

The platform is being built to:

• Track and interpret regulatory and institutional developments across major export corridors
• Contextualise those developments against a firm's operating profile
• Identify material exposure shifts
• Enable structured discussion around strategic response

The system does not replace executive judgment. It operationalises structured intelligence so that judgment becomes faster, more informed, and less dependent on episodic external advisory cycles. It behaves less like a dashboard and more like a persistent strategic counterpart. The user remains in control.

Current Stage

The initial MVP is concentrated on the Auto and EV export ecosystem spanning India, the European Union, and the United States. This sector presents sustained regulatory evolution and meaningful trade policy exposure, making it a disciplined environment for validation.

The build is intentionally infrastructure-led and conservative in scope. Priority is given to interpretability, system stability, and enterprise reliability.

Projected MVP completion is targeted for September 2026. Pilot engagement will follow internal validation.

Kanan Labs is an AI infrastructure company focused on regulatory intelligence. The long-term ambition extends beyond a single industry. The underlying system is being designed to support multi-sector expansion across export-intensive domains over time.
