These terms govern applications to the limited Kanan Supplier Programme. They supplement Kanan’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers.
What the programme offers
Kanan is selecting up to 15 Indian manufacturers for hands-on working-capital evidence preparation, possible coordination with the supplier’s chosen institution, and an external-risk diagnostic. Kanan’s programme support is provided at no charge to selected suppliers. This does not mean that financing is free; any institution determines and charges its own terms.
Application and selection
Anyone in manufacturing may submit the initial application. Submission does not guarantee selection, service, finance, a response beyond the stated initial contact, or a continuing relationship. Kanan may consider programme scope, current demand, timing, evidence availability, team capacity and learning value. Kanan will not create an automated bankability score from this application.
Institution authority
Kanan is not the lender. The supplier makes any financing application and the bank or financier independently controls eligibility, underwriting, pricing, security, conditions, approval, monitoring and disbursement. Kanan does not guarantee sanction, represent a bank by offering this programme, or handle loan funds.
Supplier control and separate authorization
The initial application authorizes Kanan only to assess and respond to the enquiry by phone or WhatsApp. It does not authorize Kanan to contact a bank, OEM or customer, or share supplier information with them. Any institution coordination or case-material sharing requires a separate, purpose-specific supplier authorization. The supplier controls its submission and remains responsible for deciding what to provide.
External-risk diagnostic
The diagnostic is informational and non-exhaustive. It identifies plausible supplier-specific pathways through which sourcing, tariffs, regulation, logistics, materials or energy may affect production and delivery. It is not a prediction, certification, guarantee, credit rating, engineering opinion or substitute for professional advice.
Information and documents
Applicants must provide accurate information they are authorized to disclose and must identify uncertainty or conflicting evidence. Do not upload or message bank statements, PAN, Aadhaar, tax returns, identity files or confidential production documents through the initial form. If selected, Kanan will identify an approved channel and the purpose for any progressive evidence request. Kanan will not conceal adverse information or make a false representation to an institution.
Declining or ending support
Kanan may decline or end support where a case is outside scope, information is unreliable, consent is unclear, the requested action may be unlawful or misleading, resources are unavailable, or continued work is not appropriate. An applicant may withdraw at any time by contacting feedback@kananlabs.in.
